Get Inspired this Summer
Next week we host our first Summer on the Farm camp this summer. There are still a few openings. Children between age 5 and 13 can enjoy the outdoors with us.
Our Inspired summer camps also are in July! Two camps are offered this July- Summer Inspired on the Farm and Inspired GIRLS on the Farm. These three-day camps give kids the perfect opportunity to create art, spend time on the farm, and eat delicious food! For more detail click the register button below.
Helping Hands on the Farm
Seeds for Success was in full swing this week as kids from the Boys and Girls Club get their hands dirty on the farm!
Throughout the week, kids get a chance to plant, harvest, and create their own meals using fresh vegetables from Deep Roots Community Farm. On Tuesday, the afternoon was spent picking garlic, dill, and rhubarb from the garden to cook with later. The kids collected eggs from the hen house, fed the pigs, and took a hike in the bluffs. Thank you to the Franke Foundation, a supporting organization of the La Crosse Community Foundation, and the People’s Food Coop for making this happen.

Stop by JavaVino to join us and Driftless Skincare as we raise money for a water source on our new garden. Sara Kujak will be selling soaps, lotions, essential oils and much more. Driftless Skincare products are 100% transparent, meaning all ingredients and natural and recognizable! 20% of soap sales and 25% of all other sales will be donated to Grow La Crosse to assist in financing the new water source. We hope to see you there!

Mandy from Root Down will lead you through a yoga class in the beautiful country setting that is Deep Roots Community Farm.

All Levels welcome- beginner friendly class!
You may pay with credit card in advance at Root Down Yoga or pay cash or check on the day of the event.
