You’re invited: Ribbon Cutting
We are excited to announce that we are officially moving forward with the empty lot at 807 Johnson Street for our new garden expansion near Hamilton/SOTA School.
Please join us for a ribbon cutting and celebration of the start to our new garden on Thursday, October 19th at 807 Johnson Street. People are welcome at the lot between 3:00 and 4:00 with the official ribbon cutting at 3:30.
We would like to thank Shelter Development for purchasing the land and leasing it to GROW La Crosse. We are also grateful to our Corporate Sponsor, Mayo Health System for being the official garden sponsor of this new space. We are thankful for your continual support.
Thank you to our garden committee made up of Principal Michaels, parents, teachers and students from the school and neighborhood who have put time and effort into the planning of the garden. You are appreciated.

Making garden education possible
We appreciate all the donors who donated to the Sponsor A School Garden Campaign. This will help connect over 1,200 students with healthy food and nature through school garden and farm camp experiences.
We have ordered garden signs and they will be up at the gardens soon. Stop by and check them out.
