| The Great GROW Get Together Event Tickets • Raffle Tickets The Great GROW Get Together is only two weeks away! If you haven’t purchased your event tickets – what are you waiting for? Here are a few of the things we have planned to make this an event you will not want to miss: • Live music – The dynamic old-time duo of Josh Rabie and Russell Petersen combine fiddle and banjo traditions into a unique blend of thundering instrumentals and original music. Beautiful harmonies honed in coulee country blanket a spread of down-home songs about the Midwest. Russell is a member of the Wisconsin based touring band Horseshoes & Hand Grenades and Josh captain’s an electric Americana outfit named Echo Black River. Their music is sure to bring a dance to your feet and a smile to your face. • Great Food – Local chefs working with Performance Food Group / Reinhart Foods will be serving amazing foods using garden taste test and winning Kids Cooking Challenge recipes. Pearl Street Brewery will also be selling taps with a portion of all sales being donated back to GROW. • Entertainment – There will be carnival style games with prizes and face painting to keep the kids busy and happy. • Silent Auction & Raffles – We have fantastic items that have been donated by local businesses and GROW supporters for our silent auction. There will be a 50/50 raffle and we will draw the winning eBike raffle ticket. Things to know – event tickets can be purchased on-line now. Event ticket prices will increase the week of the event. Event ticket prices include all of the things listed above (except Pearl Street beverages – those will be sold separately). eBike Raffle tickets can be purchased until 7 pm the day of the event. You do not have to attend the event to purchase an eBike raffle ticket, nor do you need to be present to win. You can purchase a $25 raffle ticket for a chance to win a RUSH/STEP-THRU eBike. This bike has a retail value of $4,999! The drawing will take place at 7:30pm on August 25th at the Great GROW Get Together. eBike raffle tickets can be purchased at our remaining Open Garden events and from GROW staff and board members. | Final Week of Open Garden Ms. Cameryn and Ms. Grace have had so much fun exploring, creating and harvesting with all of the young and young at heart who have attended Open Garden events this summer. With just two events left we are grateful for all of learning and growing that has happened during these special times in the gardens. Open Garden events offer the community a hands-on opportunity to explore, harvest and connect with nature in our growing spaces.
