| Summer on the Farm Students have found it energizing to be back on the farm. After a break from farm camp experiences last summer we are so glad to see youth connecting with nature through Summer on the Farm camps again this summer. Our first of five weeks of summer farm camp experiences was held the last week of June. It was especially meaningful to have social time and long breaks from screens coming out of this past year. | Open Garden Art & Celebrity Guests Join us at the North Woods International & Hintgen school gardens from 8:30 to 10:30 am, on Thursday, July 8th. Principal Holter will be making a special guest appearance at the North Woods event! We will be painting garden markers together. You can make colorful garden markers for the school gardens and to take home to add color and information to your own growing spaces. The gardens are producing so much. You will also be able to harvest and take home your own garden goodie bag! Your passport book along with GROW staff will help you complete garden “challenges.” You will get a GROW stamp of approval for every Open Garden “visit” or “challenge” you complete.
