12.11.25 Season of Giving • High School Students Open Field Trip Season

Giving Season
Thank you to the many who have chosen to double their impact with early donations. We are 1/3 of the way to our goal!

“Students love the hands on learning opportunities in nature that the GROW Garden lessons offer! They absolutely love the taste test opportunities and a lot of students have shared that they found a new love for veggies that they first tried during a GROW garden lesson.” – Ms. Roberts, Harry Spence second grade teacher.

Please consider donating this giving season to support quality hands-on garden-based learning that positively impacts the health of the youth we serve.

Help us reach our year-end fundraising goal of $10,000 in honor of a year of remarkable growth and the countless awe-inspiring connections to healthy food and nature yet to come. Your donation will make a positive impact on the lives of the youth we serve. Thank you from all of us at GROW and the students who will benefit from your generosity.Click to listen to the Z93 interview.Support the health of our future leaders – donate today!

High School Agriculture Students
Open Field Trip Season

Each Wednesday in December students from the La Crosse School District’s Introduction to Agriculture classes are visiting the greenhouse. This collaboration allows local students, with an interest in agriculture, to explore pathways to Western’s Horticulture and Agribusiness programs while learning about and practicing growing in our state-of-the-art greenhouse. During their lessons with us the students are also helping to plant seeds, propagate plants and set up the hydroponic growing units that will be used to teach younger students during the winter field trip season.

Make a positive impact – support garden-based learning today!
