3.19.26 Field Trip Season Success • Tax-efficient Giving
| Greenhouse Field Trip Season Success In less than three months, 1,434 students have taken part in Greenhouse Field Trip experiences. We surveyed 265 seventh grade students at the start and end of their visit to evaluate how knowledgable they felt about growing indoors vs. in a garden and how knowledgeable they were of post-secondary education and careers in Horticulture and Agribusiness. In both areas, students self assessed considerable knowledge gains from the start of their visit to the end. These numbers all speak to the success of this program. Witnessing student joy, wonder and curiosity exemplifies the real power of exploring the science and nutrition through hands-on field experiences. Here are a few of the student exclamations we’ve heard in the greenhouse this winter: • “This is the best day ever!” • “Can I get the recipe for the pesto?!” • “Look how big my muscles are getting. This food is really healthy!” ![]() Tax season is a good time to consider tax-effective ways to give We’d like to remind you of the tax-effective ways you can donate to GROW.
