| Greenhouse to Gardens It has been a busy and amazing start of the year. More students participated in greenhouse field trips than ever before. Students were engaged in lessons about soil, chemistry, erosion, landforms, plant parts, plant science, hydroponics, propagation, nutrition, agriculture and more. Together we talked about the similarities and differences of growing indoors vs. outdoors. Most of our visitors agree indoor growing on a cold winter day is pretty magical. With the start of the outdoor growing season we will transition our lessons back to the school gardens next week. Our team has been busy preparing lesson materials and garden beds for the start of the “GROWing Curious Minds” garden lesson series.      Summer Farm Camp Registration Open We will partner with Deep Roots Community Farm to host two sessions of Summer on the Farm through the School District of La Crosse enrichment offerings as well as one session of camp with registration directly through our website.
