Trane Volunteers Go Beyond At Spence Elementary

Thursday, June 20th, volunteers from Trane Technologies made waves in the Spence Elementary garden. From weeding to mulching and planting new seeds, this group of hardworking volunteers helped give this massive garden some much needed love and care.

The outcome of this hard work is noticeable as many walkways and garden beds have been thoroughly weeded and spruced up with fresh mulch and new seeds. Moreover, thanks to the contributions of this group of volunteers, many of Spence’s long term garden care projects have been completed in only a matter of hours.

Trane’s physical volunteers are not the only Trane employees who have made a difference at GROW this year. We are grateful to all Trane employees who have made donations to GROW this year, and to Trane Technologies for matching those donations!

If you are interested in donating to GROW, we encourage you to look into your company’s corporate giving policies. If you have any questions about donations, volunteering, or company volunteer days, please email Bonnie Martin at

There are Still Farm Camp Openings!

This year there are three different options for farm camp participants:
1. Monday, August 5th – Friday, August 9th
2. Monday, August 5th – Thursday, August 8th
3. Friday, August 9th

This allows families to tailor their time at camp to fit schedules and budgets.
