Mayors Conference

Join us this Saturday, March 25th at La Crosse’s Mayor’s Neighborhood Expo. The event includes free breakfast, free lunch and kids activities. The event is a day to learn about and appreciate the community we live in. Scheduled breakout sessions include topics like building a healthy community, safe road pathways and more!

Grow La Crosse’s Jamie O’Neill will be speaking at the first and second breakout session entitled “Eating Well at Schools”. The talk will touch on the topic of how Grow and partnering organizations like Farm2School, La Crosse School District, La Crosse County Health Department, Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare, and Gundersen Health System are able to bring fresh and healthy food to the lunch tables of our local schools. It will be a wonderful opportunity to hear firsthand the impacts of these organizations have on the community, and how the efforts are planed out.

The event is free and open to the public! Visit our booth and sign up to win free plants from our plant sale.

Date: Saturday March 25th 8:30am-3:00pm

Location: La Crosse Center
