| Thanks to everyone who supported the Great GROW Get-Together It was a hot night to celebrate garden education. Guests enjoyed the sounds of the Mr. Blink Trio while eating amazing food prepared by the chefs at Performance Food Group using winning recipes from the Kids Cooking Challenge events. Young and young at heart had fun playing games, getting their faces painted and learning about the live critters with the Nature Place staff. We are so grateful for Performance Food Group, Mayo Health System, Trust Point, True North Chiropractic and VERVE for their sponsorships of this event in support of garden based learning. There were also so many local businesses who donated items to our raffles. All of these donations made an impact on our ability to raise funds to connect youth to healthy food and nature. While the event was a fantastic time of celebration and community building we are still working to reach our fundraising goal. If you were unable to attend or just want to share more support – your donation will make a difference to the 3000+ youth we connect with each year. |
