Sustaining Partners
Ten years of finding support to fund GROW programming has taught us that sustainable programing starts with community partners and schools that value the importance of connecting youth to healthy food and nature for the long term.

To kick off our 10th anniversary year Kujak Orthodontics became our first sustaining partner.  The Kujak team has made a commitment to sponsor GROW programming for five years.  This pledge will allow us to put more focus into delivering the high quality hands-on seed to table garden education GROW has become regionally known for.

Our friends at Kujak share why they value this work enough to make a five year commitment.

Intern Spotlight
Meet our intern Lexie Blaschko!

Hello! My name is Lexie Blaschko and I am looking forward to all the opportunities I will get to experience as the preceptee for GROW this semester. I am from the Mankato, MN area. I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I will be graduating this May with my bachelors in public health and community health education. Through my college courses I have really grown to love learning about nutrition and sharing what I learn with others. GROW does an amazing job with educating youth in the community with nutrition through hands-on learning experiences, which I feel is so beneficial.

I am looking forward to working with different members in the community through different projects such as the kids cooking challenge, the spring plant sale, and field trips to the greenhouse.

If I had to choose just one fruit or vegetable I like the most, it would definitely be avocados!
