9.15.2021 Successful Get Together • Fall Garden Lessons Begin

Thank You For Supporting GROW at the
The Great GROW Get Together

It was a beautiful night to celebrate school garden education with friends and neighbors at the Great GROW Get Together.  The final numbers and donations are still coming in, but we are certain this event was a success at bringing our community together to acknowledge and promote the connections youth make to healthy food and nature through GROW programs.

We want to thank everyone for supporting GROW through attending the event or sharing the GROW story with your friends.  We are also so grateful for the support of the generous local businesses who made the event possible through financial support and the donation of goods for our silent auctions and raffle baskets.

You can still help us reach our fundraising goal by making a donation online or mailing a check to P.O. Box 1241, La Crosse, WI 54602.  Your donation will go directly to programs that make an impact on the youth we serve.

Fall Lessons Start This Week

Fall garden lessons begin at all of our school gardens this week.  Our team of garden educators are all prepped and ready to help classes to “Become Plant Scientists” through their observations in nature.  Garden educators will invite students to be curious about what they see in the gardens.  We will use their observations to sort and categorize.  Students will build upon the knowledge gained during their spring lessons as we look at how scientists classify living organisms.
Thank you for supporting GROW!
