Companion Planting Chart
The education lessons are underway! Our first topic is companion planting. Students discover the three different ways plants support each other.
Students are planting a companion pair that will be later transplanted into the school gardens. Plant combinations include beans and peas, peas and carrots, cucumbers and kale, nasturtiums and tomatoes, ground cherries and basil, oregano and cabbage or marigolds and lettuce.
